I started at Teepee Day Nursery in 2011 and since joining the nursery I have passed my NVQ Level 3.  I enjoy working with children of all ages.

Ali Munnis – Assistant Deputy Manager and Room Manager Cubs

My qualifications: NVQ Level 3, NVQ Level 2 Team Leading, Paediatric First Aid

Ali has worked in childcare since and during this time she completed both her Level 2 and 3 in Childcare. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her young daughter and baby son.

Kirsty Sibley – Room Manager Cats

My qualifications: NVQ Level3,  Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for the Children and Young People’s Workforce, Paediatric First Aid

Kirsty has worked in childcare since 2009 and during her time at the nursery has worked with all age groups of children. Kirsty now has her own son and enjoys spending time with him when she is not at work.


Emma Seymour – Early Years Practitioner Cats

My qualifications: NVQ Level 3 qualified in Children’s Care, Learning and Development

Emma has 10 years’ experience within Early Years. She is passionate about working with young children and their families.

‘I enjoy the outdoors, walking and socialising with friends and family. I also do some voluntary work for my local church. Having had a break from Early Years to work in an office, I realised that my heart is in childcare so I applied to Teepee Day Nursery as it is a small, friendly and local nursery.’

Tara Wilson – Early Years Practitioner Kittens

My qualifications: NVQ Level 3, Paediatric First Aid

Tara has worked in childcare since 2009.

Wendy Axton – Early Years Practitioner Cubs

My Qualifications:  NVQ Level 2, Paediatric First Aid

Wendy joined the nursery team in February 2015 and enrolled onto her Level 2 in September 2016, which she went on to pass in May 2017.

“I am enjoying working in the Kittens.  I am a mum of six children and eight grandchildren so I am use to having lots of children around me!”

Rebecca MacKintosh – Early Years Practitioner Kittens

Qualifications:  Paediatric First Aid

Joining us from a large nursery, Rebecca is passionate about working with children and was inspired to work in Early Years after her niece was born.

Rebecca says ‘I have a black belt in kickboxing and I love swimming and cycling. I have a passion for travel across Europe and I spend the majority of my spare time with my identical twin’.
