This week more work will commence on the garden as we move towards completion of our project. From Tuesday 26th September to Monday 3rd October, Creative Landscapes will be constructing our final addition to the garden. The mole hole will provide the children a place to sit inside or play hide and seek. This is a very exciting feature with multiple learning opportunities and we are really excited to be able to implement this.
This means that the contractors will need to park their lorry outside the nursery fence in order to access equipment and materials to complete the work. This may cause some disruption to the flow of traffic through the car park.
We are hoping to keep car park issues to a minimum and have planned ahead with the contractors. The busiest periods in the car park will be 8:30-9:00 and 15:00-15:30 due to the school run.
Whilst the above work is carried out the top garden will be cordoned off and the children will only have use of the bottom garden until next week. The practitioners have planned accordingly for this and may go out on walks as well as making use of the bottom garden.
We look forward to sharing the results with you once the work is complete!
