We are delighted to inform you that we have been successfully awarded Quality Counts from the National Day Nurseries Association, our professional association. And not just that, we gained its very highest accolade by achieving platinum. Many of you will be aware that over the past 12 months we have been working hard to achieve this award, which acts as an indicator of the quality of service we offer. We are delighted that our efforts have been rewarded and that we have achieved this very special commendation. We are delighted to announce that we are one of only 20 nurseries to have gained the Quality Counts achievement in the whole of the UK and that we are also the only nursery not just in Bracknell but also in the whole of Berkshire with this stamp of approval… let alone platinum.
We would like to thank you for your support during this time, and for your helpful feedback on the new developments in the nursery that have been introduced as part of the scheme, for instance the annual questionnaire and your feedback at parent catch-up meetings. The award looks at the whole of early years practice and we have a report which details how we have met the platinum standard. If you would like to read this, please do let us know.
Achieving Quality Counts is very special to us and we have the Mayor of Bracknell coming next Friday, 5th July to join us for a summer party in celebration of achieving this award. We understand it is shorter notice then you would normally have but we still hope that you would be able to join us. Please let our admin team know by e mailing and letting us know to email@example.com
Although we are now an official Quality Counts accredited nursery, of course our hard work of continuously developing our quality care and education will not stop. Our accreditation for Quality Counts award lasts for three years before re-assessment, and a large part of the programme is about ensuring that we continually explore and develop what we do during this time. As a nursery team we will continue to look at how we can support you and your child in new and improved ways, and we look forward to hearing your feedback in the future.
Please do let Helen or any member of the team know if you have any questions.
