Raccoons have had a very busy week this week focusing on communication and beginning to understand ‘why’ and ‘how’ questions. We have had a lot of group time talking about why it is important to grow food and also how our food grows. The children asked some very interesting questions during our discussions.
We then went onto the top garden and had a look at the vegetable in the green house before they get moved to the allotment. While we were out in the garden the Raccoons also enjoyed pouring and filling containers with different coloured water.
We have also enjoyed silly soup and picture lotto during quiet times.
We would be very grateful for any donations of old tights, straw, old clothes, broom handles and hats to use to make our scare crow for the allotment.
Have a lovely weekend
